From Our Founder: Getting back to our purpose
Hey! It's your girl Cass 👋
Lately, I've felt like we've lost sight of our purpose. Don't get me wrong — selling cute apparel that empowers women and gives back in the process is incredibly cool, but I just never wanted to be known as a T-shirt business.
I unknowingly started #GGAI in 2017 after going through a period of disconnect after losing my dad. I needed a community. So, instead of searching for a squad - I created one and started hosting sweatworking events in order to meet new friends and try something new. Turns out, other women were searching for that, too.
Five years later, we've landed here — a growing apparel business and community in the wellness space. After this past year's pandemic, our in-person community (the core of who we are) has taken a backseat.
Since the world has been slowly coming alive these past couple of months, my brain cannot stop thinking about 'what's next' for #GGAI — how do we consciously get back to our purpose of building a wellness community that matters.
I think I have some answers.
Gear That Gives Back
The first big change you'll see us make is how we run our online store.
We've had a full-time Ecommerce business for the past year and some change. It's always been up, live and available to shop with new items being added monthly — Why? Because that's how everyone else was doing it, and tbh, I didn't think there could be any other way.
It's funny because I've always told myself not to look at what everyone else was doing, and instead, get really clear on what it is that I want. Turns out, I don't want to be fulfilling orders every day of the week. I don't want to not be able to take more than a few days off from work. And I don't want to constantly have to order more, more, more when all I really want my life to be is less.
So, starting in 2022, we will be transitioning our Gear That Gives Back to a "drop only" model. Yep — you'll only be able to access exclusive styles 3, maybe 4, times per year. No restocks. No repeats. Only drops.
Of course, we'll be giving you time to shop our current collection throughout the holidays and until end of the year. But, it will be the last time you see any of these styles on our roster. Ever.
Be sure to snag your favorites here.
We'll share more as the next few months go on. I'm equal parts nervous and excited for this change, but it feels in line with how I want my life to look and what I envision for #GGAI
#GGAI — IN REAL LIFE!
Next up, and probably the most exciting change yet, we're (finally) ready to grow IRL!
Beginning this fall, we'll be opening up our in-person sweatworking communities to women across the country! Something that has been THE most requested thing since I began hosting events back in 2017 in my hometown of Bozeman, Montana.
Why now? Because this last year has forced us all to put our dreams and ideas on hold. It's given us the gift of time to figure out what really matters. And the resiliency to bring anything we want to life — no matter how scary it may be.
With this, there will be a few changes. We will be getting on a new platform (byeee, Facebook), making this a true membership (still accessible), and adding in additional perks to make it that. much. more. special.
So, I want to ask you — have you been admiring what we're creating over here in Montana? Ever wanted to bring a sweatworking community to life in your city? We'll be looking to bring on a handful of Community Leads in the next couple of months through an application process coming #soon.
Also, retreats. Yep! We’ll be bringing those back next year, with dates and location being announced this fall. Be sure to join our new perks program The Inside Squad for exclusive access to tickets before anyone else.

Okay, wow — that was a scary post to write. Idk why, but it feels like I'm shifting our entire brand into something bigger. Something more. And I'm insanely ready for it all.
Thank you for allowing me space to show up in such a vulnerable way. It means the world to have your support in shaping this community, for allowing us to do things differently, and being open to the possibility of something so much bigger than ourselves.
